The Artist

A lifelong devotion to visual storytelling.

Living Kingdom Art was founded by Dutch artist Mirjam Florijn.

From an early age, Mirjam was fascinated by beauty, emotion and storytelling. Long before smartphones existed, she carried a camera everywhere she went, capturing moments she never wanted to forget.

Her creative journey led her first into Creative Therapy, where she learned to understand people, emotions and the power of meaningful experiences. Although illness changed the direction of her career, it ultimately brought her back to her deepest passion: visual storytelling.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Illustration, Mirjam developed a unique artistic language that combines illustration, painting, symbolism and faith.

Today, her work transforms Biblical stories into contemporary fine art.

Each painting begins with Scripture and grows into a visual narrative filled with symbolism, colour and meaning. Inspired by the beauty of creation, the wonder of God's Kingdom and the stories woven throughout the Bible, her artworks invite viewers to pause, reflect and encounter timeless truths in a new way.

Living Kingdom Art exists to make faith visible.
